I am just your typical girl, born and raised in Wisconsin. My true loves are fashion, food, and all things French. I am a pretty big homebody, and love spending time with friends and family. I also love traveling, meeting new people, trying new things, and the excitement that goes along with making something. That inspired me to start up this blog, so that I can share my own ideas, thoughts, and creative experiences with you.

I started watching Project Runway a few seasons ago, and immediately fell in love with Tim Gunn. I cannot say enough good things about the man--he is absolutely wonderful. His famous catch phrase, "Make it work!" (MIW) has become my life's motto. I had the chance to meet him a few years ago while he was doing a charity event locally, and it was truly a dream come true.

"Make it work" is not just about fashion. I believe that everyone experiences MIW moments in his/her own life, and learns from the failures just as much as the successes. I am happy to share some of my own MIW moments in life with you. And I want to hear from you, too! Whether there is something that you want me to try or that you have always wanted to know more about, I am here to help.

No matter where you may be in your own life, be inspired, be creative, and most of all, "Make it work!"
