52 Reasons I Love You

This is a really cute Valentine's Day gift idea I saw on Pinterest. Here is the original idea. It's easy, but took a little bit of time because I am a perfectionist, and I put my own spin on it. That's the beauty of it!

Materials:
-One deck of 52 playing cards
-Glue stick
-Double sided tape
-Pair of scissors
-Clip art, stickers, pictures
-Card template (optional)
Before we begin, you must know that some of this project turned out to be "sheer dumb luck" (as said by Professor McGonagall!) For example, I know that I would buy a pack of red playing cards, so I designed a card template in Microsoft Word with the colors red and black. I didn't actually have a deck of cards at the time to measure how big the outside of the card was. I seriously just eyeballed it, and it came out nearly spot on perfect in size (I know, I am amazing).

A template for the back of the cards is not required. In fact, if you want one, I will send you mine free of charge--just email me! If you make a template, your project will turn out much neater, and I highly recommend it.

1. Create a template for the backs of the cards. On each template, you will write a different reason why you love that person. Print out 6 pages of these, if you do 9 templates per page. So for example, here are some of mine:

2. Cut out each template.

3. Next (optional), decorate your templates with clip art, stickers, pictures, glitter, whatever you want! I did a picture on each one, just to make them cute and funny.

4. Take 2 pieces of double sided tape and affix each piece to the top and bottom of the back of a playing card (not the number side).

5. Next, use your glue stick on all the other parts of the card around the tape.

6. Attach your template to the back of your card. You may need to smooth out the wrinkles/bubbles, but this is easy to do with your finger. (That's what she said! LOL)

7. Repeat until all cards have templates on them!
